Your details are not added to a mailing list and no newsletters or marketing emails are sent.

Who information is shared with

Personal information is never sold. It is shared only where needed to run the business, with:

  • IONOS, which hosts the website
  • Microsoft, which provides email and file storage through Microsoft 365
  • business software providers, including AI tools used to help prepare documents and reports, set so that your information is not used to train their models
  • Google and Microsoft, for site analytics and advert measurement, only if you accept those cookies
  • accountants, insurers and professional advisers, where needed
  • courts, regulators or the police, where the law requires it

AI tools help with drafting and analysis only. No decisions about you are made by automated means.

Transfers outside the UK

Some providers, such as Google and Microsoft, may store or access information outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or by approved contract terms such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.

How information is protected

Personal information is held on secure, password protected systems and access is limited to those who need it. The site uses an encrypted connection and providers are chosen for their security standards.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information held about you
  • have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected
  • ask for your information to be deleted
  • ask for its use to be restricted
  • object to its use where legitimate interests are relied on
  • receive information you provided in a format you can pass to someone else
  • withdraw consent at any time, for example by changing your cookie settings

To make a request, email enquiries@operiongroup.co.uk. Requests are free and answered within one month. Proof of identity may be asked for before any information is released.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please raise it with Operion Group first by email at enquiries@operiongroup.co.uk or through the contact form. Complaints are acknowledged within 30 days and looked into without delay. You will be told the outcome.
